Synopsis

Anand (Jai) has an ambitious dream of becoming a famous actor. He comes to Chennai and stays with his friend Chandru (Santhanam). He meets Divya (Priya Anand) at the railway station and falls in love with her. He gets friendly with Divya’s mother (Urvashi) and tries to woo Divya through her mother while returning her bag.

Earlier while shooting for an ad film with model Pooja (Lakshmi Rai), the film crew’s remote controlled mini-helicopter goes out of control and it happens to capture the murder of a politician (Delhi Ganesh) by Anbu (Sampath Raj). After viewing the content of the video they are shocked and immediately inform ACP Kailasam (Thalaivaasal Vijay) about the matter. What the duo does not realize is ACP Kailasam is on Anbu’s side and will ensure he is let off the hook.

Anbu then orders his men to look for the tape and kill the two witnesses: Pooja and her ad director Vinod. Later they successfully murdered the ad director but still failed to get the tape. Anbu then send John (Rahman) who is good at breaking other people’s house to get the tape from Pooja. On halfway he meets Anand and they become friendly towards one another. Eventually Pooja is killed and mission accomplished. Later Anand is accused of murdering Pooja on which he has not committed. Will Anand be able to prove his innocence and Anbu get caught for his murder crimes?

Synopsis

University athlete Yang Yang (Sandrine Pinna) is born to a French father whom she never meets throughout her whole life and raised up by her Taiwanese mother (Yu Tai Yan). Although she is part French she cannot speak a word of French and only Chinese as she was brought up in Taiwan since young. She befriends Xiao Ru (Her Sy Huoy), who is the daughter of her coach (Chu Lu Hao).

The best of friends turn into step-sisters relationship when the coach marries her mother. At first the two have close bond but things start to change when Yang Yang starts an affair with Shawn (Bryant Chang), who is Xiao Ru’s boyfriend. Later Yang Yang dumps him and the heart-broken Xiao Ru seeks vengeance by ensuring she take steroids in one race competition and eventually her athletic career is over.

Feeling hurt and guilty Yang Yang leaves home and starts a new career as a model and actress under the guidance of Ming Ren (Huang Chien Wei), who is a photographer. She tries to woo Ming Ren but got rejected. As she has already lost in touch with her step-sister she feels even more unwanted and rejected in her daily lives due to the fact she is half-French and her father’s absence in her upbringing has greatly influenced her personality.

Synopsis

The Tarix Jabrix gang consists of Cacing (Tria Changcut), Mulder (Dipa Changcut), Dadang (Erick Changcut), Ciko (Alda Changcut), and Coki (Qibil Changcut). They have just finished their high school and decide to study together at a university in Jakarta. They rent the same house and always go out together with their motorcycles. As they are quite new in Jakarta, the heavy pollution and the individualistic society make them feeling uneasy in their daily lives.

One day Cacing proposes to buy a new car due to hot weather and heavy pollution in Jakarta. Dadang and Mulder disagree with his proposal, while the trio decides to proceed with their car purchase idea after selling off their motorcycles. Ciko and Coki now have twin girlfriends; their names are Lala (Winda Agustini Putri) and Lili (Winda Agustina Putri). The twins have a friend called Milinka (Joanna Alexandra) who is beautiful which makes Cacing falls in love with her at first sight.

Due to differences in their thinking, Mulder separates himself from the trio of Cacing, Ciko and Coki. He got involved in an illegal motorcycle racing, which contradicts to the earlier promise of the Tarix Jabrix gang. One day the twins’ younger brother, Donadoni (Umay Shahab) got kidnapped and the kidnappers demand ransom from his family. The trio of Cacing, Ciko and Coki offer themselves to help the family. Will the Tarix Jabrix gang succeeds in saving Donadoni from the kidnappers and Mulder from the involvement in the illegal racing?

Synopsis

Lee Ji Bong (Lee Beom Su) won a bronze medal in the 1988 Olympics for weightlifting category in Seoul but an injury forced him for an early retirement from the sport. After being persuaded by his former coach he agrees to become a weightlifting coach for six girls of different personality and looks. The six girls are: Young Ja, Hyeon Jeong, Soo Ok, Bo Young, Min Hee, and Yeo Soon.

Young Ja (Jo An) comes from poor family where physical stamina is her only asset; Hyeon Jeong (Jeon Bo Mi) is having a crush on a boy she likes; Soo Ok (Lee Seul Bi) has ambitious plan to further her studies at Harvard Law School, Bo Young (Kim Min Yeong) is a natural born weightlifter; Min Hee (Lee Yoon Hoi) joins the team because she likes the uniform and Yeo Soon (Choi Moon Kyeong) hopes to succeed in order to support her ill mother.

Based on a true story the six female weightlifters and one passionate coach combined to produce the best performances in the national weightlifting competition held in 2000 where they collected 14 golds and one silver out of 15 competitions. Until today, this record remains unbeaten in the South Korean weightlifting history.

Synopsis

Koichi Kawato (Ryuta Sato) has been hired as a new baseball coach at Nikotamagawa High School. Koichi faces many obstacles in transforming the team, among them is dealing with the arrogance of the newly promoted Shoji Akahoshi (Yusuke Yamamoto) and Taira Hiratsuka (Kenta Kiritani). While playing in the qualifying tournament team captain Toru breaks his leg and later hospitalized. In the absence of Toru the team still manages to enter the final. Under the guidance of Koichi can they win the championship?

Synopsis

Synopsis

Synopsis

Burn (Norman Hakim), a film director is searching for a proper horror script for his new film. He asks his assistant Syida (Fouziah Ghous) to advertise in the local paper searching for people wanting to share their personal stories related to horror. The gathering date is set on 7th July, 2007 at 12 a.m. for the story-telling.

As the time and date arrives, nine people are present to share their stories recorded by Burn in video format. Burn is very pleased with his recordings that concluded on the same night. The next day when Burn reaches his office he is greeted with shock. His assistant announces the advertisement received an overwhelming response and reminds Burn the gathering will be held on the same night.

But the gathering has just been held and concluded the night before. Feeling surprised Burn replays his previous night recordings. Only voices can be heard while the visual is completely blank. The question now is who were the nine people that Burn met the night before?
