Synopsis

Set in Hong Kong in the late 1960s, Echoes Of The Rainbow is about a working class family of four struggling with hardship in their everyday lives. Staying in a suburb called Sham Shui Po the majority poor live in the neighborhood and face good and bad times together.

Mr Law (Simon Yam) is the head of the family and makes his living by being a cobbler and opens his own shoe shop. Mrs Law (Sandra Ng) is a saleswoman and the couple have two children. The eldest son (Aarif Lee) is an outstanding 16 year old student at Diocesan Boys School and is dating with his schoolmate, Flora (Evelyn Choi).

The youngest (Buzz Chung) is a 8 year old curious child who has ambition to be an astronaut one day. The family face corruption, typhoons, class division and incurable disease as the children are growing up. One day a typhoon threatens to destroy their home and shop and the very determined Mr Law stands strong to protect his family...

Synopsis

Tok (Chawin Likitjareonpong) is born into a comedian family. However, one day his father (Jaturong Pholaboon) realizes he is not funny at the age of 12 years, and even his younger sister (Nichapat Jaruratanawaree) has more sense of humor than him.

After having few sleepless night thinking about this matter Tok starts to develop acne on his face and soon makes an appointment with dermatologist Doctor Ice (Paula Taylor), a beautiful and kind-hearted doctor whom Tok falls in love at first meeting.

Doctor Ice finds humor with Tok's jokes and soon their friendship starts to develop. As an innocent 12 year old Tok finds it hard to control his feeling and does not know how to express himself to Doctor Ice. Will the younger Tok ever start a relationship with the older Doctor Ice?
