Synopsis

Dung (Dustin Nguyen) is a gentle and friendly young man who is leading a simple life and working in a five star hotel as a clerk. One day he meets Mai (Kathy Uyen), a beautiful lounge singer and instantly falls in love with her.

Meeting Mai is the best thing that can happen in Dung's life and he is convinced Mai really loves him deeply. But his expectation of Mai's love turns into a doubt as someone else is also pursuing her at the same time.

Antoine (Charlie Nguyen), is Mai's boss and also the person responsible to groom Mai for what she is today. Chasing Mai is the best thing for Antoine as he had invested lots of money and time just for the sake of her singing career.

Feeling the loss of love, Dung knows he cannot match Antoine's wealth and decides to quit his job in order to win Mai's heart. Knowing that he needs more money than ever before he decides to become a companion of a wealthy gay boss, Hoi (Thai Hoa).

Mai is now stuck between Antoine and Dung, having the need to choose between true love and financial security. The similar situation is facing Dung too. Who will Mai choose? What happen to Dung and Hoi in the end?

Synopsis

Synopsis

Manuel Imson (Epy Quizon) and Dado Lopega (Bayani Agbayani) are two Filipino overseas foreign workers working together in a bicycle factory located in a suburb of Taipei. Both are from Kalibo and they stay in a factory dormitory and are required to follow the strict curfew rules every night.

One Sunday both take a long bus ride to Taipei's "Little Philippines" located on Zhongshan North Road to hang out with fellow Filipino foreign workers. For Dado it is time for him to express his guilt inside the church for his extra-marital affair with Anna (Meryll Soriano) and later breaks up with her.

Manuel, meanwhile decides to end his relationship with Cecilia (Alessandra De Rossi), after discovering she is sleeping with her employer's husband. On the same afternoon they discover an abandoned leather couch on a street. After inspecting the couch and found it is still in good shape they decide to bring them back to their dormitory.

Since the delivery service for the couch is too expensive they decide to bring it home using a public bus. But again the sofa is too big to fit into the bus so they have no choice but to carry the couch using their own foot. Their hardworking characters force them to face with the busy Taipei traffic and using various mixtures of languages and slangs.

Their suspicious action soon attract the attention of the police crew and TV news. After the police checking revealed no couch has been reported to be stolen they are free to go. Night soon approaches and a river become the biggest obstacle for them to return home in time. Can they bring the couch home before the curfew time end?

Synopsis

Saori (Mao Inoue) is a manga artist who is dating with Tony Lazlo (Jonathan Sherr), an American man who is a language specialist. Although Tony can converse fluently in Japanese he finds it hard to adapt to the local culture, while Saori is one shy person when confronting English-speaking foreigners.

When Saori's family finds out about their relationship her father (Jun Kunimura) quickly disapproves and reminds her that their relationship won't last for long due to lack of understanding in each other culture. At one stage Saori notices Tony is not washing the dishes the correct way and decides to distance herself from him.

Both isn't talking to each other and Tony decides to cancel his plan to invite Saori to follow him to America to visit his mother. As the confusion grows both are unable to tell things to one another and soon Saori finds Tony behaving like a weird man. Can their relationship survive in the end?
