Synopsis

Hai (Nguyen Duy Khoa), a taxi driver marries with Duyen (Do Thi Hai Yen), a tourist guide. Both are in their earlier twenties and fond of each other. Although both have little in common Duyen hopes the wedding would make her happy. However, the after marriage proved otherwise. Hai’s sexual inexperience greatly affected their relationship.

Duyen then turns to her best friend Cam (Pham Linh Dan), a writer by profession to express her frustration. The much older and mature Cam is quietly in love with Duyen, although she already had unhappy relationship with a man called Tho (Johnny Tri Nguyen). One day the sick and heartbroken Cam asks Duyen to send a letter to Tho.

The first meeting between Duyen and Tho leads into unexpected sexual relationship and more problems arise as he had been charged with sexual desire. Cam, who does not dare to express her feeling to Duyen openly due to the taboo by the society, is now becoming lonely once again. Now, which one will Duyen choose in the end: her husband, her best friend or Tho?
