Synopsis

Kai (Jack Yao) is a young man working at his parents' noodle restaurant during the day and spends his time at a local bookstore mastering French at night time. His sudden interest with French comes after his girlfriend left for Paris and he decides to learn the language so that he could go there to be with her.

His unusual hardworking behavior at the bookstore attracts Susie's (Amber Kuo) attention, who is working there as a bookstore assistant. At the same time Kai's girlfriend seldom calls him, but Kai does not show any interest with Susie.

Bao (Frankie Kao), a gangster boss and real estate magnate who frequents his parents' noodle shop then offers to sponsor him a plane ticket to Paris with one condition; he must pick up one mysterious package before he departs to Paris on the same night.

On the same night Kai has a farewell dinner with his best friend, Gao (Paul Chiang), a convenience store worker. Problem arises for Kai when picking up the package as Bao's nephew, Hong (Lawrence Ko) and police detective Ji Yong (Joseph Chang) also have similar interest with the package and soon the chase begins.

In the middle of the chaos Kai bumps into Susie unexpectedly with Gao getting kidnapped and soon the chase spreads all over Taipei including night markets, temples, train stations, karaoke bars, love motels and the action includes running and dancing inside a park.

The chase adventure then turns into a night of romance for both Kai and Susie, Ji Yong and his unhappy wife (Peggy Tseng) and Gao who falls for his colleague, Peach (Vera Yen). Soon the early morning arrives and Kai must make a final decision about whether or not to go to Paris or stay in Taipei to be with Susie...
