Synopsis

Dianne Alvero (Bea Alonzo) is preparing for a new life after her mother (Lorna Tolentino) bought a new home for the family. However, everything is ruined when her father (Christopher De Leon) returns after abandoning the family for ten years in order to be with his mistress.

His presence annoys Dianne greatly as she has been taking care of the siblings during this period and her mother wholeheartedly accepts Franco back to live with them again. What hurt Diane the most is even her siblings welcome him home, as though as he never left the home and has been taking care of the family all this time.

Her brother, Coby (Coco Martin) has impregnated his girlfriend (Shaina Magdayao) and is considering to leave his family. James (Enchong Dee) and Lisa (Miles Ocampo) happily accepts their father back but not Dianne, who has been taking care of them ever since their father abandoned the family.

The mother is happy for the family to be united once again but not for Dianne. Is the mother concealing some secrets from the family? Will Dianne forgive and accept her father in the end? Will Coby leave his family in the end? What is the final outcome for the family in the end?

Synopsis

Detective Lee (Nick Cheung) almost lost his former stool pigeon called Jabber (Liu Kai Chi) when his identity is exposed. It is part of his job to rely on stool pigeons to collect evidence in order to arrest criminals. He is targetting Barbarian (Lu Yi), a thief who is planning to perform robbery in a jewellery store soon.

He is banking on a speed car racer called Ghost (Nicholas Tse) to be his new stool pigeon. Ghost's family is in debt of $1 million and his sister (Sherman Chung) is being forced to be a prostitute. He reluctantly agrees to be his informant and regularly provides Lee with Barbarian's plan, despite of the risk of being exposed.

While inside Barbarian's team he finds his love (Kwai Lun Mei) and while Lee is having big pressure dealing with Ghost, he also need to deal with his dance instructor wife, Cher (Miao Pu), whom they have separated and is now suffering from amnesia. Can Barbarian be caught and will Ghost survive in the end?
