Synopsis

Three bus passengers depart from Singapore to KL for the purpose of attending family reunion dinner during the eve of Chinese New Year. Karen Neo (Jack Neo) and his son Ah Meng (Tan Kheng Seong) share the same seat in the bus, with Mindy (Koe Yeet) sitting beside them.

Mindy leaves behind his father, Chef Daniel Koh (Mark Lee) who is busy preparing reunion dinner for Minister of Culture (Sebastian Sim) and his family. She hopes to have reunion dinner with her divorced mother, Mimi (Peona Lee) after her father could not spend more time with her due to his tight kitchen schedule.

Chef Daniel is being assisted by the restaurant manager, Fong Fei Fei (Jacelyn Tay), and due to his demanding and arrogant attitude, all his kitchen staffs leave him behind. He immediately orders Fei Fei to find staff replacements and luckily her mother (Lin Ru Ping), and group of relatives manage to come for rescue.

Meanwhile, the bus driver (Fadhlur Rahman) feels dizzy after receiving a bump on his head, delaying their journey home. The trio decide to use the service of taxi driven by Zool (Afdlin Shauki) to bring them to KL. Zool is also expecting his first child at the same time.

At Karen’s family home in KL her newly married nephew Boon (Huang Wen Hong) and his wife Jamie (Rebecca Lim), has plans to go to Bali for a holiday after the reunion dinner. This would be the first time Jamie having reunion dinner during Chinese New Year's eve.

Her family will go travelling during Chinese New Year and not used to the traditional style of reunion dinner. Soon she experiences difficulties while peeling the prawns in the kitchen as instructed by her mother-in-law (Liu Ling Ling) and falls down on the slippery kitchen floor, spoiling the family's secret sauce instantly.

Boon informs his father (Zhang Wei) they will fly to Bali after the reunion dinner. The couple obtain the free tickets at a company dinner earlier. However, the reunion dinner has to be delayed as his auntie Karen has not arrived yet, and she also brings along yee sang from Singapore with the dinner cannot start until she arrives.

Can Mindy, Karen and Ah Meng arrive on time to have dinner reunion with their respective families? Will Chef Daniel serve the dinner for the Minister of Culture on time? Can Zool's wife (Siti Chubby) make it to hospital on time to deliver their first ever child? Will Boon and Jamie proceed to the airport after the reunion dinner?

Synopsis

Ah Meng (Alvin Wong) and Bakri (Baki Zainal) are required by their supervisor Rama (Ramasundran) for an emergency delivery at night. At first they refused since they have appointment with their girlfriends after work. Rama decides to raise their overtime pay with allowances and they reluctantly agree.

They are required to deliver a coffin with a dead man inside and must reach their destination by 8 am the next morning. During the journey the van radio breaks down. In order to kill boredom they begin to tell genuine ghost stories told by their friends and relatives:

Banana Tree Ghost (By Bakri)

Zam (Sufian Mohamed), a single guy uses a red cloth, ties it to a banana tree and waits for a beautiful ghost lady (Fasha Sandha) to appear at night. He invites his friend Farid (Beto Kusyairy) and Noraini (Eira Syazira) to meet her.

4D Lottery Ghost (By Ah Meng)

Four friends have ambition to strike big in 4D lottery. Ma Zhai (Wong Chee Hong) pays a visit to his ailing uncle (Patrick Teo) for advice on how to obtain 4D number from the ghost. After performing ceremony at the grave, unexpected deaths are waiting for them as one female ghost (Mandy Chen) is seeking revenge.

Dormitory Ghost (By Bakri)

Yakob (Mohd Qhaud Abd Rashid) moves to a dormitory and share a room with three male students. He has been advised by the school's gardener (Kazar Saisi) not to roam around the school area at night. Later Amin (Taiyuddin Bakar) and Johan (Chomatt Samad) reveal that the school compound used to be the headquarters for Japanese soldiers during World War 2.

Before the drivers reach their final destination the van breaks down and encounter a ghost (Mano Maniam). Can they send the coffin successfully to the desired location?

Synopsis

Cheng Zhi En (Gao Yuan Yuan) comes from mainland China and works as an investment analyst in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong her personal love life and career are not running smoothly. His ex-boyfriend is married and the investment market suffers from financial crisis.

Her work is always stressful and her best consolation is a male executive working opposite her office called Zhang Shen Ran (Louis Koo), who is handsome and always advises her during the times of need.

One day while she is taking a tram she accidentally meets up with her ex-boyfriend (Terence Yin) and his pregnant wife (Selena Li), and leaves them immediately. During that incident she almost get knocked down by a car. She got saved her life by Fang Qi Hong (Daniel Wu) who dresses like a beggar.

And in order to thank him she gives all the things given by her ex-boyfriend to him so that he could sell them away. Actually Qi Hong is a frustrated architect and always get drunk. Zhi En encourages him to quit drinking, start from scratch once again and leaves him a horned frog.

Zhi En has plan to date Shen Ran but he already have an appointment with another lady. She feels sad like a broken hearted woman after knowing this. She also has an appointment with Qi Hong at the park but she herself fails to show up.

Three years later Shen Ran becomes Zhi En's boss. She feels his boss is very low class due of his 'playboy' character and Shen Ran has intention to marry Zhi En. At the same time Qi Hong quits drinking and becomes the country's renowned architect.

Qi Hong moves to the office building opposite Zhi En's and the two get back together once again. He also has love interest with Zhi En. Both men are after her at the same time. Who will Zhi En choose in the end?
