Synopsis

Ah Min (Olivia Ong) discovers her deceased grandma's (Yvonne Lim) favorite photo from her studio and contacts the owners of the photos. She manages to locate Ah Meng (Chew Chor Meng), who used to be an assorted dip snack seller at the Great World Amusement Park, and he continues on with four stories to share.

The first story is about Ah Boo (Henry Thia), who is working as a clown and gets ready to meet Elizabeth Taylor for a photo session when she visits Great World Amusement Park's Sky Theatre for a movie premiere.

The second story is about a teenage romance between Mei Juan (Joanna Peh), a carnival shooting gallery operator and Ah Leong (Zhang Zhen Huan), a medicinal oil seller from Malaysian village.

The third story is about Rose (Xiang Yun), a senior singer with the Flamingo nightclub waiting for her love to marry her but he never did. She, however, falls for her manager, Peter (Huang Wen Yong).

The forth and final part is about how Ah Meng himself is too poor to hold a wedding dinner when he weds his mute wife (Apple Hong) until his in law (Chen Shu Cheng) agrees to host one for them.

Synopsis

Anna keeps disturbing Johan after she knows Johan is married to Aishah. This make Johan getting even more worried. Later Anna decides to take her own life, after she fails to convince Johan to leave his wife. This bizarre meeting and life taking by Anna are the first Johan has ever encountered in his entire life.

Johan then sees Anna's shadow and is wondering why all of this is happening to them. He finally manages to unfold the mystery as the incident is related to the past. He used to engage and made promise with a devil and now the devil is back to claim its right. To fight with the devil he seeks a shaman's help. Can he succeed?

Synopsis

Now as a beautiful adult and successful career woman, Elizabeth still hope to meet her dream man someday. When she discovers his name in the obituary, she shatters with grief for a man who does not even know her existence! She decides to pay him the last respect inside a church.

Upon seeing the coffin from afar, she could not control her emotions and cries loudly, prompting other guests to speculate her real identity. She approaches the coffin and soon realizes the deceased person is actually John Eduque's father. Feeling shocked and embarrassed, she immediately flees from the church.

Her temporary appearance inside the church prompts Belinda (Eugene Domingo), who is also John Eduque's wife to believe that her deceased husband keeps a mistress outside. As a result of his womanizing behavior, she decides not to bury his body in a coffin but to cremate him instead.

Meanwhile, John is curious to know the real identity of Elizabeth by checking her home address with the land transportation office and he asks his assistant Bert (John Lapus) to do a checking on her. This opportunity gives him to meet Elizabeth's mother called Jill (Dina Bonnevie) and father Jack (Dennis Padilla).

After few acting tricks he manages to discover her unit number in a condominium located at the city. Then it is John's turn to track her down until they both manage to have meal together. At the same time Belinda hires a private detective called Bonifacio (Bobby Yan) and she is seeking for Elizabeth's photograph.

The more Elizabeth spends time with John the more they like each other and eventually they become lovers. After Belinda sees their photograph being together, taken by Bonifacio she gets really mad as she does not want his son to marry his husband's mistress.

Elizabeth manages to explain everything to John about her crush to him since high school and the embarrassing funeral scene. Finally both agree it was just a misunderstanding and she was not his father's mistress. However, Belinda still insist Elizabeth is the mistress and decides to kidnap her.

During the confrontation between Belinda and Elizabeth, Elizabeth shows her the collection of John's photos during the high school days and Belinda apologises. Both turn from worst of enemies to best of friends. John then proposes to Elizabeth in front of their ex-high school and she gladly accepts under the water fountain.

Synopsis

Man Mei (Yan Yi Wen) is a chicken fillet seller at the night market, where she is selflessly devoted to support her physically disabled brother, Xiao Qi (Cai Chang Xian). Mei Xiang (Liu Pin Yan) is selling cosmetics products while her mother Ah Shui Shen (Lu Xue Feng) assists to massage the clients' face. She needs to work hard so that they could support their husband and father, who is suffering from stroke. In the night market, every vendors has their own sad and hardship stories to share.

Ah Hua not only support the local vendors but also his grandmother (Cui Er). He manages to fall in love with a gossip reporter called Lin Yi Nan (Ke Jia Yan), whom he met in a car accident and during a street fight. Their unexpected partnership also form the romance story for 888 night market.

One day the land at 888 night market is acquired by a property developer and the vendors are asked to move out. They are in cahoots with local politicians led by Zhang Jin Liang (Zhu Ge Liang), and are planning to takeover the land and deprive the vendors the opportunity to sell their food.

Jin Liang and Ah Hua's family used to be close like father and son relationship. He betrayed his grandmother due to gambling, never to return again. This time he is back for another betrayal, that is to give away the land to the property developer, where the vendors have been selling tasty delicacies for over ten years.

Together the vendors team up to fight for their rights and livelihoods under the leadership of Ah Hua, in order to prevent greedy politicians and property developers taking over their place and make big profits from these schemes. 888 night market is a local dream, hope and culture that need to be preserved for the vendors.

Synopsis

Part Three. Yang Zheng receives a birthday greetings call from Wen Hui, who lives in Bordeaux. He flies over from China just to have reunion with her after so many years. They meet in Bordeaux train station and she introduces him to Chu Chu (He Jie). Wen Hui is married to Pan Xiao (Chapman To), who is involved in a wine business in Bordeaux. Wen Hui brings them for a tour around the historic buildings in Bordeaux. Later Pan Xiao appears and the three have red wine together.

Synopsis

Go is later given one of the puppies and became one of the volunteer breeders. Later he hands over the puppy to the designated puppy walkers. The Hasegawa family take Go's dog and named him Chie, after Che Guevara. They are required to feed and take care of Chie for 10 months before return it to the school.

During that period, Miu (Risa Kondo), the 10 year old daughter of the Hasegawa family developed a close bond with Chie and leave the dog with heavy heart when the time for the dog's return arrives. Chie is one of the guide dog candidates and need to pass examinations before can become an official guide dog.

Makoto (Chihiro Otsuka) is a young and aspiring rock singer. One day while singing on the stage, she falls down and injures her eyes, making her to be blind. The school decides Chie to be Makoto's guide dog under the supervision of Go. One day, Chie saves Makoto's life from a drunk man and is hospitalized.

Chie is sent to the intensive care unit and the Hasegawa family are hoping for Chie's recovery. While Makoto is singing on the stage, Go informs him of Chie's recovery. Soon Chie becomes Makoto's official guide dog and Go will replace a staff at Sendai branch that has quitted.

Synopsis

Long time ago on the Hengduan Mountains, there was a place called The Aroma City. People there communicated by singing and passed messages using aromas. Princess Su has the ability to produce aroma naturally from her body. Jiang Shao Jun (Zhaxi Dunzhu) is a son of a wealthy family, a singer who has no ambition in life, an arrogant human being but always get surrounded and adored by girls all the time. At one stage he even sleeps with Barbie (Natalie Zhang Xuan), a girl he met from the club.

Due to his declining performance in singing, he needs to ask for second chance from Madam Liu (Dong Li Fan), the general manager of a music recording company. One night he is late for his music performance and got beaten up by group of men and taken hostage by them. They are looking for his father.

Shao Jun brings them to a remote countryside and escapes by jumping into the waterfall. Princess Su saves his life by treating him at her own home. Shao Jun soon recovers and discovers the music talent and origins of Princess Su. The two become best of friends and fall in love with each other although she could not speak.

One day Mr. Ou (Cheung Tat Ming) who works for Jiang's family reveals the hiding location of Shao Jun, making him captured under the instructions from their leader, Sun Li (Waise Lee). Sun Li wants Shao Jun to give him the legal evidence of his illegal money laundering activities as his father was already dead.

Meanwhile, Princess Su heads to the city and gets reunited with Shao Jun. Shao Jun turns Princess Su into a famous contract singer for Madam Liu's company. He and Mr. Ou manage to bring the legal evidence to the police's attention. While escaping from Sun Li's men, Princess Su is shot dead by Sun Li himself.

Later Sun Li is killed by the police unit. After Princess Su's death he seeks to discover the origin of The Aroma City and conquers the icy Hengduan Mountains. From far he could see a golden city after a long search. Finally, The Aroma City has been discovered.

Synopsis

Mother Doll (Mamanyika)

Ara (Shaina Magdayao) and her younger sister Abigail (Elijah Alejo) are battling with a possessed doll that Abigail picked during a cemetery visit. The visit was in commemoration of mother's Gail (Jackie Lou Blanco) first death anniversary from a road accident.

While at home the doll tries to attack Ara while swimming and she feels surprised the doll can move without any batteries. The girls' father, Jerrick (Ricky Davao) then asks the house nanny Yaya Miley (Malou Crisologo) to dispose the doll. On the same night the nanny and two garbage men got killed by the doll.

Ara begins to research the real owner of the doll, who had lost a young baby before. She treated the doll as her own baby and prior to her death had transferred her soul to the doll to seek vengeance. The doll returns to the family and Ara manages to get a rifle and fires at the doll, and instantly stop the horror killing from the doll.

Island (Isla)

Andrea (Andi Eigenmann) and Ces (Kristel Moreno) are being invited by their friend Belle (Regine Angeles) to Verde Island. Over there they get to know Ray (Rayver Cruz), who is Belle's cousin and had lost his girlfriend (Nina Jose) on the same island two years ago.

His girlfriend was actually killed by the engkanto and he seeks help from his friend Malay (John Lapus) for revenge. One evening Andrea is kidnapped by the evil fairies and attended a feast hosted by the engkanto. She returns back safely the next day and the girls decide to leave the island the next day to escape the horror.

On the same night the evil fairies return for attacks where Belle and Ces got killed with Ray, Malay and Andrea surviving. They start an intense battle with the engkanto. Ray manages to stab the engkanto with a knife and it dies instantly. The next morning both Ray and Andrea leave the island by boat.

Mortuary (Punerarya)

Carlo (Sid Lucero) operates a funeral parlor called Funeraria Gonzales. One day he appoints Diane (Carla Abellana) as tutor for his two children: Ryan (Nash Aguas) and Sarah (Anna Vicente). The children are unable to attend school due to sensitivity of light. Back home she shares this news to his brother Dennis (Mart Escudero).

During the first class lesson Diane tries to take Sarah's photo but got reprimanded by Carlo. Soon she discovers the family's past told by Carlo, the real purpose of setting up the parlor is to consume dead human corpses. Feeling horrified Diane wants to escape while Dennis has been taken hostage by Carlo, when he visits the place to fetch his sister.

Diane reacts by burning the place in order to save Dennis. Both run to the entrance door but it is locked. Carlo chases after them but got killed after a heavy fight. The fire manage to wipe out all of Carlo's family members and relatives who are human meat eaters. Ryan manages to find a key and the siblings escape the raging fire alive.

Synopsis

Just after the tragic death of her fiance, Karlisa (Liyana Jasmay) encounters strange dreams that request her to return to her grandmother’s village. Karlisa brings along her best friend Isabella (Faezah) and both head to the village by car.

During the journey their car almost get involved with accident and saved by a guy called Armand (Zahiril Adzim). After arrival they stay overnight at her grandmother's home. While strolling around the village they notice the villagers do not like their presence when they find out she is the grandchild of Opah Maimun.

Karlisa soon learns about her family’s history from him. She finds out that her mother ran away from the village to stay away from the inheritance of a spirit that was passed down by her grandmother, Opah Maimun (Ruminah Sidek).

The spirit had attacked Karlisa’s father years back when Karlisa’s mother refused to accept her legacy. Karlisa then struggles to discover the mysteries that lie within her family curse, and soon finds out Armand is the current owner of the spirit and requests him to transfer the spirit to her body.

After the successful transfer Armand brings Karlisa to meet a spiritual teacher in order to remove the spirit from her body. The removal was successful and both Armand and Karlisa manage to lead a normal life once again.

Synopsis

A pawnbroker in Osaka called Yosuke (Ayumu Saito) is found murdered in the year 1980 and Detective Sasagaki (Eichiro Funakoshi) is assigned to investigate the case. Yosuke has a son called Ryoji (Kengo Kora) and wife (Keiko Toda).

Initial investigation leads to Yosuke's mistress called Fumiyo (Yorie Yamashita) who has a daughter called Yukiho (Mari Horikita). It is not known to him that Ryoji and Yukiho are each other’s first love and had traumatic past.

Soon Fumiyo is found dead at her home. Due to lack of evidence both cases are listed as suicides. However, Detective Sasagaki is not convinced and there has been an attempt by someone to poison him in a cafe.

The truth is that both Ryoji and Yukiho are responsible for these deaths; Ryoji took his father's life when he found out Yukiho was sexually abused by him and Yukiho killed her own mother as she allowed her own daughter to be continuously abused by Yosuke.

Both are determined to cover up their own crimes and Detective Sasagaki is determined to solve the murder puzzles even after nearly 20 years and past his retirement age as he never believed the case as suicides. Will the two get caught in the end?

Synopsis

Kiki (Chrissie Chau) receives vibrator and condom gifts from her friends, Cherryl (Jacquelin Ch'ng) and Mon (Charmaine Fong) before getting married. They wish her have good sex life with her police boyfriend Jerry (Him Law) after marriage.

They suggest to her having fun with few handsome guys before getting married. She meets Jack (Z.O.), a Taiwanese photographer on the same bar and spends the night with him without the knowledge of Jerry. The following day they say goodbye to each other but meet again later in a dinner.

Jack invites Kiki on a business trip to Macau and wants her to spend the final three days of her unmarried life with him. She agrees as she suspects Jack is fooling around with other girl from a phone call that was picked up by a girl. The girl turns out to be Bobo (Carol Yeung) who accidentally switched mobile phones with Jerry.

At one stage Kiki installed GPS secretly on Jerry's phone so she could spy on him and to check his exact location. Jerry is working with his colleagues, Keung (Timmy Hung) and Ted (King Kong) when she called to ask about his exact location. After checking with GPS she knows he was telling the truth.

While Kiki is away Jerry has chance to spend three days with Bobo with no strings attached before he gets married to Kiki. Eventually the marriage day arrives and both get married with their friends present in their wedding. After the wedding both take a lift and suddenly Bobo with her friend jump in.

Jerry, feeling shocked pretends of not knowing her and listen to both of their conversation with Kiki standing beside. She even reveals her new handphone number loudly inside the lift so that Jerry could hear it. Bobo takes a final glimpse at Jerry when she leaves.

Then Jack calls Kiki when Jerry goes to pick up the car and asks her to find him if she regrets her marriage. On the same night the newly wedded couple make love like long lost lovers.

Synopsis

Synopsis
